North Dakota Student Ministries is the Next-Gen Ministry department of the North Dakota Assemblies of God. (

We partner with churches and student leaders across North Dakota to see young people encounter Jesus, discover the destiny He has for them and impact their world with the truth, hope and power of Jesus Christ.

Our vision is to see MOMENTS turn into MOVEMENTS. We provide a variety of statewide events which "position students to experience God”. At these powerful events, students experience life-changing MOMENTS with a real God that become catalysts for lifestyles of impact. Our ultimate goal is to equip students to be a MOVEMENT that brings God's Kingdom to earth!

We are convinced that worlds are changed as we take the ordinary and combine it with the we value God’s presence and refuse to live without His we choose to believe that our students will be anything but average and challenge them accordingly.

Lakewood Park Summer Camp is the greatest week of the summer for students across our state! Each camp runs from Monday afternoon through lunch on Friday. Our student camps provide space for students to encounter God, grow in their faith, connect with new friends, be encouraged by Christian adults as well as HAVE A BLAST with crazy games, adventures and activities!

There are three camps at Lakewood Park each July: Junior High, Senior High and Kids Camp. (Lakewood Park is located in Devils Lake, ND.)

Position your students to experience God at Lakewood Park this summer!

Thanks for your interest in serving as a volunteer for our student summer camps!

Our summer camps require a large team of volunteer staff who are willing to invest a week in the lives of students! We need volunteers who are willing to step out of their comfort zones, sacrifice a week of their time and pour into the lives of youth and children.

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism.

Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.

Speed the Light (STL) is a student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since its beginning, STL has raised over $235 million for missionary equipment around the world.

Every year, students, youth ministries, leaders and churches across our state give generously to STL. Through that generosity, many missionaries from ND have the resources they need to share the truth and hope of Jesus Christ throughout our world.

It’s not just stats, or goals, or awards - Speed the Light is inviting students to join with the Kingdom of Heaven to change their world!

For the security of our workers in other nations, we can't post the details of all our projects publicly. However, for more information about current projects, please email us:

The national Speed the Light website has great information for churches and youth leaders!

In addition, the FREE Speed the Light Digisource is PACKED with great ideas, tools and promotional items.
In connection with Speed the Light, The Human Right Movement was created to unite advocates of The Human Right to rise from apathy to action, entitlement to responsibility, and silence to advocacy. The core concept: We ardently acknowledge, support and promote the alleviation of all social justice issues—unclean water, sexual slavery and extreme poverty—but we are most passionate about seeing people everywhere come to truly know Jesus (Philippians 2:4).

We encourage you to give to Speed the Light through your local church, if at all possible. Talk to your pastor or youth leader for more information. Alternately, you can also use the Speed the Light donation link on the right.

Church, please do not use the donate button here!

We request that church treasures send in Speed the Light funds from your local account each month:
* Church checks should be written to "Speed the Light"
* Be sure the check includes the name and address of the church.
* Mail to Speed the Light - 1445 N. Boonville Ave - Springfield, MO 65802.
